Sr. Database Administrator (Oracle)

Stefanini Group is looking for a Sr. Database Administrator for a globally recognized automotive company based in Michigan. The Sr. Database Administrator (Oracle) will be working with application teams to support application Schema deployment and maintenance Build and manage database backup and recovery using TSM/TDPO and ZDLRA solutionsEngage with application teams to resolve application/database performance issues on RAC in ExaCC platform and standalone DB installations on Intel x86 physicals, VMs, P-Series and Solaris platforms Monitor and manage RAC (HA) and Data Guard (DR)Evaluate and promote new DB features engaging with application teams Strong experience in Oracle database installations and configurations on multiple platforms Strong knowledge of OEM, AWR and DB tracing features required Provide On-call support during established schedules .Strong knowledge of OS and DB security constructs are required Strong team player with the ability to work and share knowledge with cross functional teams is required Who We AreThe Stefanini Group is a global provider of offshore, onshore and near shore outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application and strategic staffing services to Fortune 1000 enterprises around the world.
