Cisco ISE Network Engineer

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of CCNP or higher is a ideal to have
- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure as a Network Engineer in a Cisco environment
- Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies for networks utilizing Cisco IOS
- Expertise in Cisco Wireless and wired networking
- Must have Cisco ISE 2.3 or above experience
- Experience with virtualization is a plus to have
- Time management skills and have worked with projects
- Ability to work alone or in groups, managing multiple projects and finding solutions to keeping projects on track
- Flexible schedule to accommodate after-hour (OT or weekend work) implementation of system modifications and to respond to incident issues within your assigned area
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- Experience working in network design and implementation, data center routing switching, troubleshooting and operations
- Strong hands-on knowledge and understanding of the following IT infrastructure technologies:
- VMWare administration, including:
- Wireless Access experience
- Cisco Catalyst 9xxx experience is a requirement
- Certificate based authentication
- Experience in policy based
- Experience doing production cut-overs in a sensitive environment – formal change management experience
- Wired and Wireless troubleshooting expertise, specifically in Cisco
- Windows Operating System L2 & L3 support
- Device fingerprinting experience is a requirement
- ISE 2.3 experience or above
- Cisco ISE licensing experience
- PowerShell scripting or of any Scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash, Shell, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with networker
- Experience creating and maintaining high-availability systems.
- Demonstrated deep expertise in technical and security process design.
- Healthcare environment is highly preferred – Background in Finance or other regulated industries will be considered
