We are looking for an individual who has 10+ years of experience in the role Application Infrastructure Support, hosted on Windows/Linux environments with excellent Communication skills, ability to work and lead a global team. Should have deep expertise in implementation of common infrastructure activities (i.e., Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments, Certification/password renewals etc.). Extensive hands-on experience in troubleshooting Infrastructure failures (OS, N/W, Storage, File Systems, LDAP, Active Directory and SAML etc.) that can impact the application availability and performance. Able to work effectively across technology teams to analyze and resolve Infrastructure issues. Improve Infrastructure stability and performance by observing patterns, recurring failures and/or issues, and advise application owners on permanent fixes accordingly. Build and improve run books for generalists to minimize operational errors and gain fungibility/efficiency. Passionate to learn, understand, and dissect new technology stack. Participate in 24x7 on-call escalation, response to s from our technology service teams within scope

Technical Skills:

Primary must have:
  • Windows/Linux Administration
  • Windows Active Directory
  • Cloud: PCF (Preferred)
  • Programming: Python, Go, bash, Power shell, Shell.
  • Web application and service failures troubleshooting using Microsoft Technologies - DNS, DHCP, ADLS
  • Database troubleshooting in Oracle, SQL Server
  • NAS/File System troubleshooting
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Experience with common networking protocols and services including TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH, FTP, SNMP, and LDAP
  • Observability stack – AppDynamics, Splunk, 1000Eyes, ITRS or similar Tools.
  • CDN – Akamai (Preferred)
  • Working knowledge with Remedy, JIRA etc.
  • Patching coordination
  • Fair Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps Tools

Good to have:
  • Configuration Management: Salt Stack, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
IaaS migration Experience is an advantage.
  • PowerShell/Python any scripting language for Automation

Process Skills:
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
  • Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

Behavioral Skills:
  • Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
  • Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives
  • Ability to steer technology direction and provide appropriate training to the team
  • Good attitude, learning skills.

Qualification:
  • 8+ years of work experience in Infra & environment support.
  • Education qualification: B. TECH, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
