The Level 4 Lab Technician will work in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and well-known customers.Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collect OEM-developed new devices details, review new features available on the device, and highlight for further action
  • Physical Device Evaluation basis specifications given by the client, clearly indicating the output as Device Performance and Physical Device Analysis
  • Device selection basis criteria given by the client and provide output, documentation, and support center
  • Device distribution to users and troubleshooting of issues, pushed software updates if any; periodic feedback collection output as due diligence to hardware failure
  • All BSODs and USDs should be fully understood to determine if they are software or a model-specific issue
  • Test client recommended Windows OS build on new devices platform
Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support (tier II support)
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, including driver, software, and hardware issues
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 8 and 10 with McAfee antivirus and encryption software
  • Experience in deploying windows with Microsoft MDT solutions including PXE
  • Experience with PowerShell and batch scripts for OS deployment purposes
  • Experience with PC hardware repair or part replacement
  • Experience in wireless / network issues
  • Experience in equipment organization and cable management
  • Experience with asset tracking
  • Excellent document documentation skills
  • Someone who enjoys a fast working environment and pays attention to detail
  • Someone who can work in a lab / server room environment
  • Client Engineering experience (tier III) a plus
  • Knowledge of device specification analysis
  • Hardware validation process
  • Hardware performance testing
  • Knowledge and experience in tools like PC Mark-10
  • Willingness to learn or ability to learn quickly
