Truck Washer/Helper Needed - Urgently Hiring

We are an established scrap tire center seeking to hire a Truck Washer for our Transportation Department. This position will transition into a Truck Helper role.

Colt, Inc. is a licensed and permitted scrap tire processor and transporter with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. We’ve been in the scrap tire business since 1994 and have grown to be one of the largest scrap tire transporters in Louisiana. Our goal is to provide customers with top-notch service for all of their scrap tire needs. Please note: All applicants must apply in person to be considered for this position.

General Job Requirements:

Clean the interior and exterior of the trucks and trailers

Dispose of trash in interior of truck

Prepare cleaning solutions

Keep your area clean and safe throughout the day

Keep up with general cleaning of break room and parking lot

When operating as a Truck Helper:

Help driver load all used tires from customers

Direct driver when backing

Sweep and clean out customers’ area after tires are removed

Maintain inside of truck

Assist the driver in all other job duties needed to successfully complete the route in an efficient and safe manner
