Bicycle Sales and Service Associate

Job Summary:

Sales associates are the primary contact and first impression for customers entering the store. Sale associates must present an out-going positive attitude and enthusiasm for cycling, skiing, and a healthy lifestyle in general. Sales associates are entertainers and must make customers feel welcome and unique and guide them to what fits their needs best. Every visit must be memorable to each customer.

Job Description:

1. Must have excellent communication skills.

2. Must clearly explain and demonstrate products to the customer.

3. Utilize sales training to provide top-notch customer experiences.

4. Apply customer service skills to exceed customer’s expectations.

5. Provide feedback to the Store Manager on ideas to increase sales.

6. Promote Gorham Bike & Ski’s mission, values, and standards.

7. Be proficient in our Lightspeed POS system.

Qualifications:

1. Prior bicycle or ski shop experience is great but we will train the right person.

2. Ability to be a team player and work with co-workers to achieve common goals.

3. Knowledge of computers and technology.
