Deli Manager

The Leverett Village Co-op is looking for someone to manage the cafe/deli/bakery. Our grocery store co-op has been open for 36 years and we are a very important part of this small, rural community. We are looking for someone who has a broad range of experience including knowledge of recipes, margin control, and inventory control. We are looking for someone with talent and creativity. Our kitchen makes baked goods, grab and go deli items, and some made to order breakfast and lunch as well as pizza nights. It is very important that you are able to work well with others. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with the responsibility of managing the cafe and creating strategies for growing sales while being able to take a collaborative approach to working with other cafe staff. We are estimating that this will be a 25-30 hr. / week position.
