The Meat House is a very fun, fast paced and exciting place to work. That is why we expect all employees, hourly and salaried managers, to have general knowledge of all aspects of the store. This enables us, as a team, to attend to every guest in a timely and friendly manner and to ensure no guest waits too long for the exceptional customer service that we are known for. Having general knowledge of all areas of the store also creates a much better teamwork environment, where no one employee is left on an island to help every guest at his or her station. Teamwork makes the dream work!
An Employee of The Meat House has a multitude of responsibilities. They are not limited to but include:
Proficient knowledge of Meat Cutting, Cuts of Meat, HMR Recipes and Sandwich Recipes.
Basic knowledge of Register Transactions
Accountable for the high standards we expect. Superior Quality and Exceptional Customer Service.
Accountable for the presentation of the Meat and HMR case, to The Meat House Standards.
Creating a friendly and safe work environment for all team members.
Being able to lift 25 lbs
Be HACCP compliant
Keep a sanitary work environment
Accountable for answering the phone in a timely manner with the proper greeting.
Proper and accurate order taking.
Adhere to all recipes and procedures of The Meat House
Safety Procedures on all equipment; Bone Saw, Grinders, Tumbler and Deli Slicers.
Daily Cleaning of the entire BOH; Walls, Floors, Tables, Equipment and Tools.
