Position: Junior Java Developer Location: Brea, CA (remote to start) Length: Contract to HIRE Skillset: 1 year of experience, Java, SQL Requirements:

  • 1+ years of MS SQL Server development experience
  • 1+ years experience of writing SQL and T-SQL statements, queries, stored procedures and triggers to the SQL Server (2012 - 2016) production databases
  • 1+ years of J2EE Application Development experience in Apache Tomcat5 container
  • 1+ years professional experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) environments
  • 1+ years experience with Spring, REST and Web service processing (XML/SOAP/WSDL/AXIS)
  • Developed user interfaces using Java Server Pages, AJAX, HTML and CSS.
  • Performed front-end validations using JavaScript
  • Experience on Git/Maven Version Control System
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Bachelor's degrees from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Responsibilities:
  • Trouble-shoot problems both technical and operational
  • Provide technical and professional assistance to other staff members
  • Provide 24 X 7, 365 day-a-year support on a rotating basis
  • Support Web and Internet-based products and services with minimal direction and based on documented user requirements
  • Lead projects from requirements through implementation based on product and project development methodologies
  • Plans, conducts, and coordinates programming application activities.
  • Writes business applications computer software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions.
  • Develops statements of problems, designs systems and programs, and writes programs in computer language for solution by means of data processing equipment.
  • Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
  • Must be self-motivated individual with the ability to solve complex problems using reverse engineering
