We are looking for an entrepreneurial sales revenue driven professional that can help penetrate new markets and drive the growth and success of our company.Who You Are:You are passionate about driving sales for a leading Managed Service Provider and bring with you a plethora of market knowledge and are no stranger to partnering with a CEO to develop market strategies and are comfortable running a one person department. You are a storyteller that likes to explain the nuances that an MSP provides and how we can strengthen a company’s IT infrastructure to benefit enterprise wide operations. You are connected with movers and shakers from various verticals and are no stranger to building a brand presence. You like to partner with our clients and collaborate with internal business partners to deliver exceptional results and work to enhance daily IT operations performance. You are inquisitive and curious while you learn and share marketing information in your field and market. You have excellent communication and technical skills. Your 5+ years’ experience in selling professional services and/or ideally managed services are what makes you the ideal candidate. Your passion and self-motivating personality helps you succeed managing your market with independence.So here is the Job:This is a new position, to be located at our corporate offices in Milpitas, You will have responsibility for identifying potential new business opportunities that will increase the company's client base and market share. You will build our market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business through strong strategic relationships where you will guide clients and prospects in the development of Infrastructure & Managed Services (IMS) solution strategies with accountability for achieving revenue and financial goals. This individual will be a key member contributor to the Managed Service Provider (MSP) business strategy and will provide the leadership, team building and execution necessary to drive revenue and partnerships in the IMS/MSP services and solutions market.Job Duties:

  • Create and execute a unified sales and BD strategy for IMS/MSP solutions.
  • Oversee and guide clients and prospects in the development of solution strategies with accountability for revenue and financial goals set by our CEO.
  • Partner with internal leaders on identifying the right companies for alliances and partnerships.
  • Provide thought leadership on the trends and opportunities in the IMS/MSP marketplace and sell a full portfolio of solutions (cloud/QA/mobile/web/managed services/consulting services)
  • Understand end user decision making and influence how we best to generate revenue and adoption in the IMS/MSP industry ecosystem.
  • Lead and manage change within own area of responsibility as well as oversee demand generation, lead qualification, and account penetration strategies
  • Participate in local professional and industry organizations; attend conferences and meetings
  • Respond to RFP’s write sales proposals and win contracts for long-term consulting opportunities
  • Effectively sell to C-level executives among our clients and prospects
  • Communicate effectively and be a master at translating technical jargon to non-technical audience

Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience
  • Previous industry selling consulting/professional services and/or software products. Experience selling IT services a definite plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing and able to interact/transact with C-level or technical audiences
  • Strong experience leveraging industry best practices with sales and business development
  • Strong experience networking and prospecting. Extensive network of existing contacts and prospects is a definite plus
  • Able to work on a team
  • Previous experience with CRM/ERP/CMS applications
