Job Description: The Information Technology Business Analyst will report to the Senior Program Manager, Infrastructure and Applications within the Portfolio Management Office of ITS and is responsible for analysis and definition of IT work requests. The Information Technology Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and business units. This team member must demonstrate good judgment in selecting tools, methods, and techniques working with the business and IT to identify solutions. Working with the business, they will apply business analysis techniques to define the business problem, gather business requirements, formulate appropriate process and IT solutions, and deliver recommendations for improvements. They will work with business partners to confirm scope and understanding of work priorities. The Information Technology Business Analyst will help formulate work plans and coordinate efforts on small to medium size projects. This teammember will develop and foster positive working relationships between ITS and business units. This position will be 100% remote with the possibility of coming on campus to work closely with ITS customers. Please note the maximum annual salary budgeted for this position is $78,360. Participates in cross-functional teams to address complex business or systems issues.
- Works in collaboration with stakeholders, business unit leadership, peer business analysts, system leads and the ITS PMO to define scope and objectives, and coordinate project activities and vendor management at the direction of leadership. Works, under the general supervision of the ITS Senior Program Manager, to develop work plans to implement new systems, procedures, or changes in support of business requirements. Monitor progress by tracking activity; recommending actions; resolving problems; and publishing regular progress reports.
