The Talent Mine is recruiting for Controls Systems Engineer with expertise in ICS skills for an immediate, full time opportunity. This is with a world class manufacturing client where you'll have the chance to work in a beautiful DT Seattle location (post COVID) and also perform Windows upgrades and rollouts on site in a manufacturing setting. This (and a few others) are all open at the same client due to GROWTH; they just promoted several teams members, and this is a new position created due to this growth. Description:Our client is big into sustainability and proudly promotes this within their organization. They have a small, tight knit IT Department that is valued in their organization, and has a list of exciting projects and upgrades that they want to get to. Based on this, they are growing their IT Team, and are looking for an expert Control Systems person that understands a manufacturing environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional Control Systems Engineering expertise, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Your career has a mix of electrician and IT support professional in it.
  • Provide Tier I, II and III support on the operations side of the IT Department
  • Monitor performance and maintain of manufacturing control systems according to requirements
  • Identify areas of system improvement or development to better support the organization. Implement system changes in area of expertise.
  • Partner with IT, OT, and site-level reliability, maintenance, and engineering (RME) teams to maximize the performance.
  • Serve as an escalation point for on-site maintenance technicians. Provide high severity support and emergency site visits.
  • Have a background in ICS (Industrial Control Systems) or PLCs. You understand how to support and maintain 24/7 mission critical manufacturing equipment.
  • Be able to work in a 24/7 environment with an on-call rotation
