This is a
Contract to hire opportunity. candidate is expected to be ONSITE starting immediately(atleast once or twice a week), depending on the need. skills required: Mac, iOS, Apple, windows, active directory, android, low level cabling systems like CAT5 OR CAT6 OR cat5E OR coax, ITIL, CCNA, access management. Daily Responsibilities- Promptly respond to Executive/VIP technology support requests, questions or problems
- Possess a sense of urgency and regularly deliver “white glove” service
- Work closely with all Teams to provide problem ownership and routine updates to any outstanding Executive issue(s)
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all dealings with executives
- Maintain a current level of knowledge with regards to technology, company standards and current projects that may have an impact on staff
- Monitors products for trends and performance, escalates as needed
- Provide weekly status reports to IT management on incidents, tasks, and projects revolving around Executive support
- Keep abreast of trends in technology and its application to understand the current best practice, possible alternative solutions and to support problem-solving skills
- Self-manage one’s own time to prioritize and fulfill tasks efficiently with quality deliverables; within the context of the objectives supplied by the manager
- Liaise with colleagues, utilizing their expertise to solve more complex problems while retaining ownership of those problems to ensure timely resolution and constant communication
- Support electronic devices including BYOD devices such as mobile devices (cell/tablet), as well as computing environments such as Windows and Apple desktop and server Operating Systems
- Maintain audio/visual environment and systems in support of on/off-site business environments
- Effectively troubleshoot and collaborate with peers to resolve any network configuration issues, wired and wireless; local and remote
- Empowered with decision making capabilities, but held accountable for such decisions
- Maintain asset management of end user devices
- Implement a process of continual improvement in services and communication within the realm of Executive Support
- Demonstrates high ethical standards, strong work ethic with an emphasis on team commitment, shows respect for others, acknowledges and builds on others ideas, and support group decisions.
- Candidate must have a disciplined approach to managing task assignments. People skills, good judgment, and flexibility are critical to this position
- May perform additional duties as required or assigned
- Expert level experience with Executive level support in a corporate enterprise setting; in both an on and off-site capacity
- Excellent customer service is required together with the ability to handle sensitive and challenging support situations with a calm and methodical approach
- Senior level of Apple configuration and support experience (iPads, iOS, iPhones, MacBooks, etc.), as well as Android and their related OS environments
- Senior level experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office Products, and various versions of Microsoft Windows OS (desktop and server)
- Data center/Server room knowledge and comfortability
- Foundational understanding of TCP/IP and network switching/WAN hardware
- Low voltage cabling experience (CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, COAX)
- Audio/Video systems experience
- Ability to work with little or no supervision from direct manager
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ITIL Foundations certified
- Apple Certified, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Technology Specialist or equivalent technical certification(s)
- Cisco CCNA /Security
- Microsoft Certifications/Application Platform experience
- VMWare VCP or equivalent virtualization experience for Servers and Desktops (VDI)
- Experience with endpoint management tools, such as SCCM, Casper, Sophos, etc.
- Working knowledge of project management
- Ability to follow documented procedures and develop new procedures and documents
- Highly motivated self-starter with an extreme attention to detail
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines while maintaining professionalism and managing stress
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Executives
- Encourages fellow team members to make innovative contributions and embrace new ideas
- Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledgebase and proficiencies
- Shares acquired skills with team members through formal and informal channels
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
