High-Technology Content Strategist/Writer Location: Remote Duration: Direct HireKelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Content Strategist/Writer with experience writing for enterprise networking (physical and virtual) and that understands how data center and IT infrastructure products and services (cloud, bare metal, storage, security, etc.) are being used to build and interconnect digital infrastructures. We are looking for a content strategist/writer with outstanding writing/editing, communication, time and project management skills who has a passion for working with leading brands in the high-tech industry. In this content strategist role, you will craft content for one of the world's leading digital infrastructure companies including blogs, contributed articles, PR spokesperson playbooks, web pages, presentations, white papers, eBooks, customer case studies, product/service collateral, etc. Experience in high-technology content creation - specifically enterprise networking/telecommunications - is vital.Specific experience and capabilities required include:

  • 10-15+ years of writing/editing and marketing/comms content development experience in high technology, specializing in the networking and/or telecommunications industry or related sectors for a company, agency, industry publication, or analyst firm
  • Fluent in enterprise networking (physical and virtual) and understand how data center and IT infrastructure products and services (cloud, bare metal, storage, security, etc.) are being used to build and interconnect digital infrastructures
  • Outstanding, original writing and copyediting/proofreading skills for both business and technical content
  • Experience working with large global technology organizations, including working with and writing on behalf of C-level executives and other technology and business leaders
  • Knowledge in vertical industries including financial services, healthcare, and media and digital content
  • Marketing/communications agency experience backed by strong client management and people management skills is a plus
Essential skills and traits include:
  • Excellent verbal communication when interfacing with senior-level executives to understand their marketing/content development requirements
  • Strong client-management, including proposal writing, business development/management skills, and to effectively juggle and meet the requirements of multiple stakeholders
  • Strong research and interviewing skills that enable the collection of essential information from secondary online sources and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Customer/partner advocacy program experience to understand and interview senior business and technical executives to create customer/partner narratives and obtain customer/partner quotes that can be used in customer case studies, partner solution briefs, presentations, video testimonials and blogs
  • Planning, time management, and project management experience to handle multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Able to work independently and self-sufficiently multitask in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment where multiple key stakeholders weigh in on the content as we work together to deliver a superior product
  • Agile and able to quickly build content credibility and build trust with clients, while operating as a fun, energetic and creative member of their extended team.
  • Ready to fluidly work remotely via a video conference-driven (Zoom, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, etc.) global environment across multiple time zones.
