100% Remote - Software Test Engineer (SDET)

CompuGain is an Information Technology and Business Consulting firm providing project-based solutions, software solutions and professional staffing services. -Note: This is 100% Remote Opportunity.Job Description: Develop manual test cases and participate in manual testing as required for project releases Provide estimates for testing level of efforts for automation testing Communicate with Business/Systems Analysts/Developers/Testers to understand/clarify requirements Identify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking system Identify and communicate risks to Project team Provide regular updates to the Test/Project Manager Provide technical information for Change Requests meetings Participate in systems requirement reviews and team meetings when necessary Maintain Project s test and automation documentation Work collaboratively across various functional areas across the project and provide UAT support as neededRequired Skills:- Design and develop automation test scripts based on existing framework and enhance where needed- Identify and prepare test data for testing using SQL queries- Participated in Systems Integration Testing- 8+ years experience in automation and manual functional testing- Experience in building automated test scripts based on existing framework and enhance as needed.- Experience in Se/Python for test automation- Thorough understanding of all phases of SDLC in an AGILE environment- Experience with SQL queries, REST based WebServices, APIs Web Applications.- Knowledge of CI/CD environment- Experience working in Cloud/Hybrid applications- Experience in Performance Testing- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills- BDD experience is a plusEducation Requirement:Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, statistics, or a related field.Technical Skills / Knowledge Required: Minimum of 1+ experience in mid-large sized complex project with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Test Management and defect tracking tools Understanding of DevOps practice to support continuous integration, build and deploy processPersonal/Soft Skills: Ability to do presentations and walkthroughs with Systems and Business personnel Ability to work well in a fast paced environment under deadlines in a changing environment.
