Position Summary:Matrix Precise is looking for a Business Analyst to translate user needs, observations and functional requirements into innovative products. The Business Analyst will be responsible for transforming business objectives and domain specific requirements into actionable engineering stories, actively participate in Sprinting process and drive content throughout the development cycle. The ideal candidate has seasoned experience as a Business Analyst in mobile/web application development projects and display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Project Managers, product management and technical leads to develop product concepts.
  • The Business Analyst will effectively interact with cross-functional teams of clinical domain experts and different stakeholders (product managers, project managers, functional managers, SW/ HW development teams, vendors, and other stakeholders from the business community) to gather, document, analyze, convey, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Responsible for the following critical functions:
    • Gathering, documenting, vetting, versioning, and archiving requirements
    • Analyzing user, project, and/or technical needs to improve product development and delivery systems
    • Documenting those needs into requirements for Use Cases, User Stories, project plans, and product specifications
  • Participate in quality assurance measures to cross-checking outputs and artifacts against those requirements and modifying both accordingly
  • Facilitate customer feedback processes to validate product functionality and channel new requirements and resolutions back into development.

Skills / Experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise software development experience as a business analyst
  • Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodology
  • Experience in analysis, gathering requirements and creating use cases, user stories in web-application SDLC.
  • Must be an independent, technically adept, problem-solver, who can juggle multiple high-volume responsibilities with great autonomy, while always demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude amidst a dynamic climate of continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management expertise; and outstanding interpersonal, organizational skills
  • Experience in:
    • Establishing requirements for complex workflow management systems strongly preferred
    • Developing project plans
    • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Project and Visio or similar tools evaluating, learning, assessing, and dissecting new technologies
  • Healthcare information systems and clinical user experience a plus
  • Project management experience is a plus
