Senior Full Stack Java Engineer / Artificial Intelligence / Healthcare Space

A well-funded start up in Pasadena is on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer for their full-stack engineering team of 8. In a world where the word "disruptor" is flying around constantly, this group is truly disrupting an industry whose archaism is truly shocking in today's world of artificial intelligence and NLP. You'll work on software that understands massive amounts of unstructured data at a very high speed, and learn from users to single out the information that is most important to them. This is a role will be Full-Stack role that requires someone to have experience with one of the major JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Clojure and some front end experience, ideally with Angular9+ but if you've just used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that's okay too. This engineer should also have a very open-minded perspective when it comes to the day to day work responsibilities of a lean-Agile environment in the AI space. This role, while hands-on sometimes requires someone to diver their attention to other areas when necessary, so someone who is open to taking on other responsibilities in stride is a must! Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in a JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Clojure)
• Some front end experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or modern Angular Frameworks)
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
• Prior startup experience a plus
• DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Docker) a plus
