Title: Data Consultant - Creative & MarketingDuration: 03/08/2021 to 12/31/2021Location: Burbank, CADescription:Summary/Overall Purpose: The Data Consultant will support and help drive marketing strategies through direct marketing campaign lists utilizing analytical insights, research and statistical methods. This position functions both as a consultant and as a high-level data analyst. The position works with clients to develop the right set of questions and/or hypotheses. Using the appropriate tools/skills to derive and select/pull the best target population/lists to address customer needs. This individual should be a critical thinker with the ability to quickly learn business processes and understand how to relate data captured to these processes. The Data Consultant should be self-motivated, detailed, a strong communicator and a team player. Major Responsibilities: Interact with various development/technical teams to better understand the data environment, suggest improvements, and have the ability to convey and educate these items effectively to a broad audience. Project Management capabilities to create and manage campaign/data projects. Campaign design, support, and optimization of marketing and informational campaigns. Effectively execute multiple campaigns across multiple channels. Ability to administer campaign requirements and changes throughout the campaign workflow and set expectations appropriately with business owners and management/business partns. Experience database competence working with one of the following (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata). Experience with one of the following (Unica Affinium Campaign, Teradata TRM, Neolane/Adobe Campaign, or other equivalent). Strong CRM/Campaign Management experience working in a large environment with multiple campaign channels. Solid database marketing experience working with campaign strategies and execution. Strong knowledge of Direct Marketing principles and techniques. Successful experience working with and/or consulting marketing professionals on campaign and data operations and best practices. Knowledge of SAS and/or a scripting language (Python, Shell, etc) a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Certification: N/A. Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required.Additional Job Details Daily responsibilities:•Work with clients in sales and channel management to drive to consensus around requirements for multi-level data & reporting solutions that support a range of stakeholders, from Executives to Analysts•Create/manage reporting and data sets related to optimizing our interactions with our Channel Partners such as brokers and consultantsRequired skills:Ability to access information in a relational database and build reports and data solutions using below software. Some proven experience in these tools with strong interest in building expertise.•SQL•Tableau•AlteryxPreferred skills and expertise:•Ability to create strong data visualizations (eg, dashboards, reports),•Ability to develop clear, accurate workplans•Experience in a sales and account management environment involving brokers and other channel partners, ideally health insurance•Ability to create Technical documentation
