Senior Software Engineer / Java / Spring Boot / React

A well-known, enterprise financial company in Century City, CA is hiring a Senior Fullstack Java Engineer to build out new applications for their trading system. This is a 6-month contract to hire position that will receive full W-2 benefits while on contract. Your role would be developing stock market listings using as close to real time data as possible. The backend is Java 8 with frontend in React; the role being about 50/50 in terms of your responsibilities. This is an amazing opportunity to work within a completely modern technology stack including AWS infrastructure, Kafka for streaming, and containerization including Docker and Kubernetes. • Mastery of Java 8, including Lambda
• Mastery of React framework
• Spring Boot, Data, or Cloud experience
• Amazon Web Services experience
• CI/CD with Maven, Jenkins, and Docker
• BS Degree in STEM field

• BS or MS in STEM field
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Kafka, Spark Streaming, AWS Kinesis experience
• Elastic Stack
• Kubernetes experience
