One of our Top Global Partners is looking for a Software Development Manager to provide leadership and direction to software developers, software testers, automation engineers, scrum masters and product owners. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running with previous management experience. This position is remote for the foreseeable future (through COVID), but will require onsite presence in Atlanta, GA. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4+ year of experience managing software development teams
    • Extensive leadership experience: managing developers, doing 1-1’s, annual reviews, etc.
  • 8+ years of hands on object oriented programming experience (C preferred)
  • Experience producing technical designs for software applications
  • Extensive experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong ability to navigate the complexities of a global, matrixes organization
  • Experience conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience improving overall quality of software and processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems including hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in the Retail Industry or with Point of Sale (POS) systems, inventory and order management, or purchasing.
  • C Programming experience
  • Experience managing global teams
  • Experience developing software in an Agile environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage a team of 15+ direct reports including software developers, software testers, automation engineers, scrum masters and product owners. We use E-Verify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.
