Job Title : Android Developer Location : Belmont, CADuration : Long Term Contract Experience: 4-5 years Job Responsibilities • Hands-on coding/automation and testing of mobile app • Execute full software development and testing lifecycle • Work closely with clients, both in the Business Domain and with Technical staff members • Work in highly collaborative teams that strive to build quality code and provide business value • Regular status updates to lead / manager • Following industry best practices • Client communication Basic Qualifications • 4 - 5 years mobile development experience using android. • Very strong in object-oriented concepts & design patterns. • Working experience in Kotlin. • Should have knowledge of architecture like MVC, MVP, MVVM. • Practical Android coding and debugging experience. • Experience in working with Android compatibility APIs, Android Fragments. • Sound experience of Android User Interface API, spanning multiple device configurations & settings. • Good experience of networking libs like Retrofit. • Experience of working with Web Services and common data interchange formats: JSON, XML. • Experience of working with Android Jetpack. • Local data storage using SQLite databases and shared preferences. • Sound working knowledge of application profiling. • Experience with version control tools like Bitbucket • Unit testing experience using Junit, PowerMock, Mokito. • Knowledge of application deployment and Code-signing. • Good communication skills and ability to work with team collaboratively. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good learning ability and flexibility to work with other technologies. • Experience in working in Agile environment and familiar with Agile processes. • Experience in developing automation scripts to test UI of Application using Espresso framework is added advantage. • Willing to learn Espresso to develop the script for testing the UI of the Android Application.Thanks & Regards,John Wright.
