Position: Accounting Analyst

Office Location: North Powder, OR

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

Experience/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Accounting preferred

General Position Description:

The Accounting Analyst position is designed to bring additional strength into Beef Northwest Administrative Team and be the primary accounts payable and receivable clerk. The right candidate will be numbers and detail oriented, have past accounting experience, and be a great team player. The successful candidate will receive training, on all business aspects of Beef Northwest. have the opportunity to participate in project development and analysis and will be provided the opportunity for growth within the company.

Administrative Duties: This position entails the following duties:

Accounts Payable

o Process all accounts payable for the company.

o Manage vendors by collecting W-9s and verifying lienholder information.

o Complete 1099s annually.

Accounts Receivable

o Deposit checks.

o Process all cash receipts for the company.

o Manage collections on customer accounts.

Treasury Management

o Reconcile all transactions from the accounting system to the bank daily.

o Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.

Customer Management

o Communicate with customers at least monthly with statements and invoices.

o Manage contact preference database.

o Collect and track all feeding agreements.

Credit Card Reconciliation

o Manage receipts and reconcile transactions for all executive management credit card purchases.
