Carpenter

We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.

A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products, knowledge in all aspects of building (foundations and concrete) (framing) (finish carpentry) (ground to finish building)

Furniture building a plus

Concrete knowledge a plus

Self-motivated

Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project

Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements

Build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

Install hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, and insulation

Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed

Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines

Requirements

-2+ years of professional carpentry experience a plus

-Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction

-Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools

-Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

-Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity

-Proven experience as carpenter

-Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

-Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

-Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

-Ability to read technical documents and drawings

-Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

-Good knowledge of English

-Good understanding of basic math

-Good physical condition and endurance

Have own transportation, carpooling from office is an option

Basic carpentry tools (hammer, tape measure, tool bags, hand drill, square, level are recommended; but not limited to)

-Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements

-Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

-Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

-Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

-Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.

-Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.

-Maintains records by filing documents.

-Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

-Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
