We are looking for a sales leader to grow our Corporate Eventbusiness and manage this fast growing part of VIVANT.As Corporate EventSales Manager you will focus on building this business by sourcing, qualifying and closing opportunities with companies, groups, and partners.This position reports to our Head of Private Sales and can be based anywhere in the United States.

  • Create and execute a Corporate EventSales Plan and strategy to target and close the accounts across the United States and Europe.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new sales opportunities with corporate clients and partners to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Together with our Editorial team, design and implementcustomized Experiences for specific client needs.
  • Collaborate with our customer care and customer delivery teams to ensure receipt of Tasting Kits by all participants.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of Wine Advisors by territory and Experience certification to Private Experience clients.
  • Become educated and stay up-to-date on our portfolio of Experiences, responsible winemakers and wine regions around the world.
  • Study, train, and become certified on the VIVANT experiences platform.
  • Build and foster relationships with partners to scale marketing and sales of Private Experiences.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with global clients.
  • Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Business or equivalent field.
  • Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2+, Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) or equivalent training.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales pipeline and meet sales targets.
  • Ability to multitask and to liaise with a multitude of internal and external partners.
  • You are a highly organized self-starter with a proven track record building B2B partnerships.
  • Proficiency inSalesforce.comor other similar CRM systems.
  • Mastery of Englishwithexcellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and "get it done” mindset.
  • High energy, determined, won't take no for an answerpersonality.
