Job Description

We are expanding our team and looking for an ambitious USA Trade Sales Manager to join our team.Your mission will be to collaborate with our team to bring our beautiful wines to premium retailers, hotels, restaurants and wine bars in the United States. You willdevelop a direct network of on-trade and off-trade customers throughregional distributors across the country. Our more than30 Burgundy cuvées have a broad price range and a focus on sustainable, organic and biodynamic winemaking. Responsibilities

In this role, you will build create the strategy andrelationships to build a national network of trade clients. You must have a natural ability to build trust and a drive and passion for sales.

  • Together with the Director of Trade Sales create an omni-channel trade strategy for the USA market.
  • Develop a national network of trade clients in key major metropolitan areas.
  • Thoughtfully educate buyers, distributors, sommeliers and retailers.
  • Represent Chteau de Pommard during all Trade activities
  • Create and manage a pipeline of trade opportunities
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team on campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Learn the Chteau de Pommard and FamilleCarabello-Baum product portfolios.
  • Advance your wine educationin our École V Professional Wine School.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Wine
  • Minimum 5+ years of successful experience in a similar position
  • Large network of distributors, retailers and sommeliers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales pipeline and meet sales targets
  • Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3+, or similar wine education
  • Working knowledge of and passion for the Burgundy wine region
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and "get it done” mindset
  • A true sales instinct and comfort with performance-driven compensation
