Java Developer

Summary
  • Work on product improvement and new feature development, as well as troubleshooting and optimization of Web-based applications. We are looking for candidates who can contribute to the design of our products and participate in process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the role of Java Developer as a Scrum team member.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new features.
  • Build and deploy Web applications using MVC frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Software Engineer role.
  • Core Java skillset including exception handling, multi-threading, and file handling.
  • Extensive experience writing and debugging complex stored procedures and SQL queries.
  • Experience with any of the following RDBMS: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, or DB2.
  • Experience with enterprise applications using J2EE concepts with JDBC, JSP, servlets, EJB2.x or ORM frameworks including EJB3 or Hibernate.
  • Experience with application servers including JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with transactions and concurrency.
  • Experience with multi-threading.
  • Knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of XML/XSL, CSS, DHTML, Web services and Ant.
