Permanent Hire/Fulltime Employment with our Direct and “End Client” … one of the world’s top manufacturing companies related to the healthcare sector, a huge global organization with revenues worth billions of dollars and 100 thousand employees worldwide.Client is Unable to sponsors or provide any Work Visa Sponsorships Job Title: Software Project Engineer [experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), DOORS, Agile/Scrum] Location: TORRENCE, CA (USA) – Must be Onsite, Post Covid-19 phase Annual Compensation package: Base Salary/annum + Annual Bonus (5% – 15%) from very 1st year and Equity + Robust Benefits package with lowest employee contributions + full Relocation coverage [except buying a selling house, apartments, any immovable property] Description: - Looking for a Software Project Engineer to be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of test software in complex electrohydraulic, electromechanical, hydro-mechanical, electro-pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical test equipment components and systems, which are used to test flight-critical actuation systems. In this professional role, you will plan and conduct efforts requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaption and modification of standard software engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Typically, the Project Engineer devises new approaches for the problems encountered.
Responsibilities:Build a project plan for the successful development, implementation, and testing of test software from start to finish and coordinate executionCommunicate with the involved project team and management, keeping them informed of progress and educating them on the operation and performance of the designBe a key contributor to the preparation of successful proposal scope, designs, cost estimates, and technical volume write-upsOperate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals, which includes other department membersValidate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analysesDocument scope, assumptions, designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reportsRepresent our company in a manner consistent with its technical reputation Minimum Qualifications to be considered:BS Degree preferably in Engineering plus five years of experience with project management/project engineering or lead role; or MS Degree plus three years of experience with project management/project engineering or lead role.Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).Experience working as part of a project team.Experience in a Test/Development lab environment.This job requires access to US export-controlled information. Preferred Qualifications include:Software knowledge highly desired, experience with Python preferredExperience managing technical programs highly preferredSelf-motivated; willing to take ownership of assignments and look for ways to execute on time and on budgetMechanical and/or electrical knowledge in a hands-on lab environmentControl Account Manager (CAM) ExperienceExperience with Automated Test StandsExperience with dSpace, LabVIEW, and/or NI software development/verificationDevelopment of Integrated Master plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Risk and Opportunity management or similar business processes- Experience with DOORS for requirements management

IDEAL CANDIDATEMUST have 5+ years of project management or project engineering experience. Will lead and manage test software projects.Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience. To understand the strict project requirements.MUST have experience working in a lab environment. Must be comfortable being out on the shop floor interacting with the test equipment team.Software knowledge highly desired, Python expertise preferred. Will be managing technical projects for the test software group.Automated test stands experience highly desired.
