.NET Software Engineer

- Translate software requirements as to designs, code, unit test, debug, and document fitting solutions
- Perform middle-tier implementation and integration with backend databases
- Customize software based on research and customer needs
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, designed, coded, tested and debugged.
- Assist in documentation for development of software user manuals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization
- Facilitate integration activities with IT, the business, and users
- Routinely monitor and report project status to management
- Proactively identify issues that may potentially obstruct project goals
- Leverage expertise to take corrective actions as needed
- 4+ years’ website and web application development experience using ASP.Net/C#, Active Server Pages, VBScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Server
- 3+ years’ T-SQL experience
- 2+ years’ MVC, Web API, Web Services experience
- Preferred experience with .NET Core, website setup and management, Javascript/CSS frameworks (Angular JS, Bootstrap), Azure and/or AWS, OpenID, OAuth2, etc.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of various software engineering practices
- Desire to keep up to date with technical and business skills to enhance business software and provide team mentoring
- Excellent ability to build and maintain good business relationships
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong documentation skills
