Join a startup that is making a new market when it comes to dealing with the new transportation economy. With the introduction of ridesharing companies changing private car ownership, and shared bikes and scooters filling the streets, there's a need for uniformed regulation. This platform will work in conjunction will city and local authorities to create universal compliance and regulations in regards to number of vehicles, location, speed limits, no fly zones, etc. This position is for a Data Engineer to join the team, working on the big data engine. The engineering group is currently 14 people, and expected to double this year. This position is open to people working fully remote. Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years experience working on a Big Data platform and working with data pipelines at large scale
  • 3+ years experience with public cloud features, either: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure
  • Strong experience developing with Java, Scala, or Python,
  • Low ego, flexible attitude, strong desire to join a startup
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Apache products such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or Druid,
  • Experience with ML libraries: Pandas, SciKit, PyTorch
  • Experience with serverless infrastructure and hybrid cloud deployment tools like Kubernetes
