For this Desktop Support Tech position, we re seeking candidates with SCCM Remote Desktop experience and A+ certification. Mac support experience is preferred, and Dell or Lenovo certifications will be considered a plus. Overview:
- Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems
- Support mobile users for network access, email support, and troubleshooting
- Manage IT inventory / assets
- Customize communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual
- Determine the most cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime
- Prepare reports for analysis
- 2+ years of related tech support experience
- Mac experience strongly preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification required
- Dell and/or Lenovo laptop & desktop certifications a plus
- Windows OS knowledge (Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10)
- Microsoft Office 2007 to 2016 and Office 365
- Ability to support Outlook client
- Ability to use SCCM Remote Desktop to deploy images to clients' desktops and laptops
- Desktop and laptop hardware knowledge
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
