Desktop Support Analyst

Description Robert Half Technology's Desktop Support Technician role is for someone with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. Located in the Overland Park, Kansas, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term temporary-to-full-time in nature.What you get to do every single day- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities Requirements - Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing- Desktop support or related experience- Microsoft SCCM experience preferred- General familiarity with Desktop Application- Demonstrated knowledge of Aruba- Desktop Imaging experience highly preferred- Experience with Microsoft Office 365- Practical knowledge of Desktop Environment- Adeptness in Microsoft Exchange- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Windows- Microsoft Office 365 experience- Active Directory experience desired Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
