For more information, please visit www.careers.firstam.comJob SummaryThe IT Program Manager will work directly with division leadership to deliver key operational improvement objectives and strategic initiatives. This individual will drive critical process improvements through technology and be responsible for the ongoing requirements for platform functionality and technology integrations.Essentials Functions

  • Manages across project team, IT and operational management to deliver cost savings from operational transformation.
  • Establish a deep understanding of operational processes and controls. Document current and future state operational process. Document process improvement and expected cost savings metrics.
  • Implement optimization opportunities (e.g., artificial intelligence feasibility, robotics RPA etc.). Drive cost takeout activities, elimination of manual processes, mitigate risk, improve customer experience and accuracy.
  • Support data-driven process to define and improve on operational metrics.
  • Design & document business requirements for platform changes and key integration points
  • Enable executive visibility to high level strategic projects, schedule bi-weekly or monthly report outs to includes project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Assess current project methodologies and change management practices.
  • Prioritize task, action items and recommendations. Create roadmaps and timelines.
  • Develop and implement training and communication plans relating to the organization's strategic direction
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to, motivate and inspire a diverse group of individuals, including senior management.
  • Excellent judgment and independent decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and/or other process improvement methodologies is desirable.
  • Ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data, interpret data, to detect errors, and prepare reports.
  • Solid analytical thinker with desire to drive customer experience and business operations improvements.
  • Is proactive and takes initiative; thinks creatively; drives projects to completion; insists on highest level of quality.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral (including presentations), written, interpersonal (active listening), skills and ability in negotiating and influencing.
Typical Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced degree preferred
Typical Range of Experience
  • 8+ years progressive program management experience
