Looking for a

Senior Project Manager to work with business partners to understand their objectives and translate them into strategic, scalable technology solutions. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional Scrum teams to ensure delivery in a high-quality, on-time manner.

Responsibilities Include:- Act as the Agile Scrum Master across 5 Application Development Scrum teams, including Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure team members- Complete required deliverables for our Corporate partners, including the Project Management Office and Audit teams- Lead business unit projects outside of IT as capacity allows - Use the necessary tools, particularly Jira, to manage all epics, stories, tasks, dependencies, and resources. - Collaborate with the team to understand priorities and define scope/timing of each release.- Obtain validation from Scrum teams to deliver on committed stories each sprint and track the team's progress to meet committed release dates.- Facilitate all Agile meeting routines, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.- Partner with the Product Management team to understand business objectives/solutions and help to ensure collective understanding throughout the team to successfully deliver on requirements/acceptance criteria. - Partner with Engineering/QA to understand technology solutions to be able to effectively contribute to planning activities and issue resolution.- Ensure onshore and offshore Engineering/QA team members are properly coordinated- Coordinate release management activities, including preparation and execution of deployment plans.- Proactively identify and execute on opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement throughout the delivery process based on retrospectives/lessons learned/root cause analysis findings. - Ensure clear, timely, and effective project communications with stakeholders and the project team through status reports and other project communications.- Create Corporate PMO deliverables, including Project Charters and Annual Planning/Budget documentation.- Coordinate Corporate IT Audit activities and ensure on-time delivery of any remediation plans.- Ensure compliance with all Audit IT team requirements, including release approval tickets and quarterly access reviews.- Effectively lead all meetings with a professional leadership presence, including preparing agendas, keeping the participants on track, and recapping important decisions made and next steps. - Effectively write meeting minutes that capture key decisions made and action items.- Proactively identify project risks, working with stakeholders and team members to implement mitigation strategies. - Actively work to resolve issues in a timely manner. Escalate critical project issues as appropriate.- Project a positive, collaborative presence that sets the tone for the group's success.- Coordinate team social activities to promote comradery and a fun team culture.

Required Skills: - Minimum undergraduate college degree. - Minimum 5 years of project management leadership experience, preferably in an Agile team environment. - Certified as a Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner preferred. PMP certification a plus.- Experienced in the Atlassian product set, specifically Jira & Confluence. - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.- Understand web application, Internet, and infrastructure concepts - Previous experience in Insurance a plus.- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent leadership, communication, relationship-building, critical thinking, business writing, and organizational skills required.- Attention to detail, consistent delivery of high-quality, on-time deliverables.- Proactive, with a sense of urgency.- Active listening skills and negotiate conclusions when opposing paths are desired.- Elicit clarity when information presented is unclear or insufficient.- Read, understand, and communicate technical documentation.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is continuously changing.
