Job Summary As a SelectQuote Search Engine Marketing Specialist, you are passionate about the ever changing digital media landscape. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in digital media outlets including paid search, display, mobile, social, as well as emerging media and new technology platforms. The best fit for this position is someone who is competitive and loves learning, improving and challenging themselves every day.This position is responsible for the execution and day-to-day management of online Pay-Per-Click (PPC) marketing initiatives for SelectQuote, one of the country's preeminent national insurance brokerages. This includes managing multiple paid search campaigns with multimillion dollar budgets. All digital campaigns are dedicated to generating high quality leads for a fast growing team of insurance agents while meeting aggressive marketing performance and ROI goals.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of paid search and other cost per click bid platforms, including bid management, testing and targeting strategy
  • Ongoing focus on improving paid search performance metrics while maximizing volume and overall opportunity
  • Manage and create testing plans for landing pages, ad copy, bid strategies and automation to maximize form conversion and improve cost per lead, cost per policy and revenue
  • Work with digital marketing analysts to evaluate campaign performance and recommend optimizations
  • Generate and analyze daily and monthly marketing reports as well as provide recommendations on strategies to optimize and improve performance
  • Participate as a thought-leader by sharing knowledge and best practices with the digital marketing team, division leadership and business unit teams
  • Collaborate with division leaders and others on the marketing team to ensure all marketing initiatives and messaging are consistent and aligned with company and division goals

Qualifications
  • Highly knowledgeable PPC; expert in Google Ads and Bing Ads
  • Experienced with online monitoring and tracking tools, including Google Analytics
  • Highly analytical with the ability to analyze and understand large sums of data
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to implement changes rapidly that positively impact marketing performance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Highly motivated, resourceful and self-directed with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail, while seeing trends, themes and macro-impacts
  • Strong knowledge base of the overall online and digital marketing realm and best practices
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity

Training and Experience
  • 2-3 years' experience managing PPC and other digital media campaigns required, 3+ years' experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Google Ads and Bing Ads certification preferred
  • Experience managing ROI driven campaigns, with measurement that extends past lead cost
  • Experience with lead generation and form best practices preferred
