Come join WWT today! We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Government Services Team. Why should you join the Government Services Navy team? The mission of this program is to build a lab from the ground up including all stages of design, modification, and service delivery. In this role you will provide enhanced technical support to the warfighter as well as bring innovative change and value add to the entire Navy Marine Corps Intranet! In collaboration with all stakeholders across the NEN lab, the Senior DevOps Engineer will design, create, support and maintain tools and systems used to deploy, run, automate, secure and maintain our broader ecosystem of custom code to optimize infrastructure processes. Responsibilities:

  • Automate and implement highly available and resilient platforms in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Responsible for configuring and administering automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible and Kubernetes contributing to the Infrastructure as Code environment.
  • Administer, in conjunction with the Compute and Cyber stakeholders, the management of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Identity Management solutions.
  • Automate and restore environments back to its original configuration within 48 hours of test completion.
  • Document and communicate procedures, configurations, and standards effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secret Security Clearance Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III.
  • Experience with SAML and MFA.
  • Experience managing and automating IaC, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, cloud services and solutions.
  • Experience with open source technologies (Docker, Jenkins, Puppet, Git, Nagios) and repositories.
  • Experience with the full software development life cycle.
  • Experience with DoD security implementation, including STIG, security tools, such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM, and Cloud security best practices.
  • Knowledge of federal IT and Cloud security policies, including FISMA/RMF, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD Cloud SRG and applying them to Cloud security architectures.
  • Experience with JIRA Agile tools, working in an Agile environment, or using Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Linux, Unix and Windows.
