Job Role: Project Manager – Information Security

Location: Burlingame, CA, Greenville SC, or City of Industry, CA (Remote until Covid gets resolved)

Duration: 6 months contract

Job Skills:
  • 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in cybersecurity
  • Solid understanding of core cybersecurity tools and their usage in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience deploying core security tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Crowd strike, Tenable, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects within the cybersecurity space.
  • Solid organization skills and solid understanding of project management processes
  • High level of proficiency in Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Asana
  • Comfortable with pivots and macros
  • Preferably PMI certified / trained (PMP)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage project plans for security/infrastructure projects and contribute to the overall successful program delivery
  • Manage Implementation of various security projects to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor and control assigned project budgets and targets provided by the Director of Operations and Infrastructure
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with project team members
  • Liaise with other IT departments and support areas to facilitate successful end to end delivery
  • Monitor project progress, regularly report on progress, identify and action potential stoppers and issues
  • Communicate gaps in program performance and escalate as necessary
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure cross-program alignment to meet contractual obligations for deliverables and SLAs
  • Deliver role up updates to program governance and manage weekly updates for project and program level reports
  • Self-starter able to drive towards goals and manage time effectively
  • Analytical and the ability to think on the fly
  • Strong skills in interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
  • Able to work in a collaborative and in fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new cybersecurity concepts
