This is a place like no other and where you'll do your life's best work.(sm) We are seeking an experienced, analytical and motivated Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians in any of the following office locations: Overland Park, KS, Sugarland, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Carlsbad, CA, Costa Mesa, CA, or Jacksonville, FL. This is a fast-paced role where you would manage a team of Pharmacy Technicians to ensure productivity and improve current processes. Must have flexibility to work between the hours of 7am-7pm Primary Responsibilities:- Monitoring and managing Pharmacy Technician staff productivity and quality
- Managing projects as needed
- Acting as the SME for processes and policies
- Identifying potential issues that interfere with workflow
- Determining and implementing process improvements
- Identifying trends and ensuring fair workload distribution
- Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to the team through feedback, performance management and development conversations
- High school diploma / GED
- 2+ years of Pharmacy experience
- Supervisor or Team Lead experience providing coaching towards metric driven goals
- Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in office state, OR the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel (creating reports / spreadsheets)
- You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
- Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive VoiceResponse (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
- National Technician Certification (PTCB)
- Experience working within a Pharmacy Benefit Management and / or Managed Care experience
