PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The calibration technician will support the manufacturing organization through performing calibration and troubleshooting of a variety of RF / Microwave test equipment to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability for test measurement.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform calibration / assist with maintaining environmental Temperature, Humidity, Altitude, Salt, Cycling, and Shock Chambers. Experience with PID Temperature Controller Programing and Calibration preferred. Calibrate / maintain Thermometers, Temperature & Humidity Recorders, Ovens, and Hydrogen Furnaces. Calibrate X Y Chart Recorders, Power Meters, Multimeters, Sweep Oscillators, RF & Log Amplifiers, Cathode Test Meters, UniTek Welders, Pyrometers, Pressure Gauges and Flow Meters. Perform RF characterization measurements such as; Insertion Loss, Return Loss, Electrical Delay, Phase Noise, Spectral Characterization, and Noise Figure. Able to inspect, test, and maintain a variety of electronic and mechanical equipment as well as precision instrumentation to ensure measurement accuracy using: High Voltage Dividers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, High Current Shunts and Precision Resistors, Scalar and Vector Network Analyzers, RF Calibration Kits, Signal and Function Generators, RF Plug Ins, Sweep Oscillators, Single and Multifunction Calibrators, Manometers, Thermocouples, Thermometers, Temperature Calibrators, Transmitters, Optical Standards, Precision Gage Blocks, Gage Pins, Reference Bars, Dimensional Standards, Granite Surface Plates, Torque Testers and Gages. qualifications:
