A hosted integrated online health insurance exchange technology platform. UAT Support will work with IdeaCrew (technology vendor) and SBM team to sufficiently test the CoverME platform ahead of each deployment to ensure correct functionality, confirm selected configurations, and accuracy of eligibility and enrollment submissions. While IdeaCrew does perform internal QA including manual regression testing, the requested UAT support resources would work with the vendor to supplement their testing and provide an independent review of performance. There will also be a focus on 'exceptional' test case scenarios, attempting to enroll consumers with complex applications and mixed coverages. The testing resource will partner closely with IdeaCrew and they will be prepared to begin testing in May. Ideally, the UAT resources will spend April developing an understanding of the marketplace and crafting testing scripts. The vendor will have non-production environments to develop testing scripts from. Key Responsibilities: Write testing scripts for each relevant user journey. These testing scripts should provide broad instructions, identify success, and record whether the test was successful or how it failed. The scripts should be written to reflect end-to-end user journeys and attempt to cover all aspects of the CoverME marketplace platform from the CoverME landing page through full enrollment. Convert testing scripts to an automated testing platform and run the automated scripts during each testing window Conduct automated user acceptance in addition to live user testing (manual). Automated testing should be done in popular website application testing software (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, etc). Provide a thorough report on the outcomes of UAT to the SBM team and IdeaCrew. This report should contain details on every test, including descriptions of failure or success for each component. Provide a testing summary report. This report should detail every failure and provide broader recommendations for future remediation and improvement. Required Skills:

  • Testing experience (5 years) and the technical skills needed to efficiently and effectively develop and execute the UAT program for the SBM. (5 years)
  • Experience furnishing automated testing suites (5 years)
  • Experience in UAT scenario development (5 years)
Preferred Skills:
  • Preferred: Resources with experience working with Health insurance exchange systems, knowledge of marketplace eligibility and related programs (APTC/CSR, insurance metal tiers etc.) (5 years)
