Oracle DBA Consultant

Role: Oracle DBA Consultant Location: Sacramento,CA or Remote Duration: 6+ months Description: 1. Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) on Oracle database version 11g Release 2 or above to include hands-on with PeopleSoft (Financials and HCM). 2. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of expert experience as a Senior DBA supporting databases on Red Hat Linux 6.x or higher and performing Unix shell scripting. 3. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of expert experience performing Oracle database upgrades and migrations to latest Oracle supported version. 4. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of experience supporting Oracle databases on ASM (Automatic Storage Management). 5. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) database version 11g Release 2 or higher. 6. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of expert experience as a DBA supporting databases with a size of at least 10 TB. 7. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of experience writing documentation (standards, best practices, procedures). 8. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of experience with Oracle 11g Release 2 or higher: Using Tuning Pack, Diagnostics Pack and Change Management Pack and/or Automatic workload Repository (AWR). Writing and tuning PL/SQL objects. Supporting Oracle databases that utilize the RMAN backups to disk or other mediums. Supporting Oracle databases using replication/materialized views. Supporting Oracle databases using triggers. Implementing Oracle database auditing facilities. 9. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of expert experience modifying proprietary Oracle ZFS API for cloning Oracle Databases and authoring original code for this purpose. 10. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of experience writing scripts interfacing Oracle ZFS storage appliance with ZFS cloned Oracle databases to automate usage by Oracle DBA's. 11. Five (5) years (within last 10 years) of experience as a DBA supporting government retirement and benefits database systems 12. Three (3) years (within last 5 years) of experience writing custom queries from Oracle Enterprise Manager to report on database, host, environment and licensing statistics. 13. Three (3) years (within last 5 years) of experience supporting Oracle databases in VMWare and Cohesity environment. 14. Oracle DBA 11g or higher Certified Professional (must provide proof of certification).
