Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Portsmouth NH Duration: 1+ Year Contract Description: Candidate is to provide support to the Client The successful candidate shall have the capability and experience to administer, support, maintain, patch, and update web applications and associated systems.Requirements: At a minimum in support of this task the contractor will perform the following:- Review and monitor web content servers and systems, identify issues and deficiencies, collect and review information on malicious sites and update blocklists, take corrective action and advise client management of possible incidents, malicious activity, and inappropriate use.
- Provide packet capture analysis as needed for troubleshooting.
- Provide response, support, and take corrective action when necessary to address customer issues related to blocked websites.
- Coordinate with client and firewall personnel to set up IP blocks for malicious activity that warrants further action.
- Support, maintain, and patch all associated cybersecurity systems to include but not limited to Linux and Windows-based operating systems managed by the client
- Experience: 3 to 7 years in a computer science or related field
- Technical Certification: COMP/TIA Sec+
- Education: 4-year degree in Information Systems field
- Clearance: SECRET with an IT-1I background investigation
