Senior Software Engineer

An innovative manufacturer for electrical vehicles is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. This company is at the forefront of electrical vehicles and recently rolled out their first commercial pickup truck. They recently made it on General Motors tier one supplier list and received $75 million dollars in funding. For this role you will get to work closely with the Principal Engineer of Software and Architecture as the implementation expert of the system. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience utilizing Java 8 or newer version, Spring Boot/MVC, Database experience with MongoDB or NoSQL, and experience with AWS (S3, EC2). They are in Irvine and although remote at the moment, they will be looking to have their employee's back in the office post COVID. Applicants must be local to the area or willing to commute to Irvine.Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience with Java
• Experience with Spring Boot or Spring MVC
• Experience with Databases: MySQL and MongoDB
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Cloud tools - S3/EC2

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Self-Starter
• Experience with Containerization - Docker or Kubernetes
