We are looking for an Innovation Program Manager to join our team and to lead the program management of the StudioLAB suite of projects. Experience in film or television technology management is REQUIRED. A broad understanding of the technologies in play - VR/AR/xR, virtual production, rendering, computer graphics, animation, realtime production, videogame production and video production - is also required. As the Innovation Program Manager, you will be part of a highly creative advanced technology team which is tasked with discovering and shepherding innovation within all forms of cinematic content generation. You will be key to ensuring the organization, coordination and communication of the projects and overall program, promoting best in class teamwork, best in class management practices, and superb and successful client handling. The individual will work directly with the Senior Managers of Content Innovation and Content Tools & Tech, as well as their Senior Manager peers across the Technology Innovation Team. To be successful in this role, the candidate will be naturally interested in change and innovation, a fast learner with proven experience, and will bring a strong knowledge of key management and organizational tools and methods that will ensure delivery of excellence. S/he must have excellent production and communication skills, and will be able to work fantastically well across complex cross-functional teams and business units. Key Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): ? Be the key contact for project reporting and status at any given moment for the team and its executives ? Manage the program and project reporting and status collection , and the organization of communication of status and delivery on a daily and weekly basis ? Work with leadership to manage the production and design of communication packages , including presentations, shipping forecasts, and visual data for senior executives ? Improve team cohesion and coordinate team building events, social events and bring other ideas to the table to innovate within team management itself ? As needed, onboard and manage contractors or vendors on projects, including tracking necessary paperwork. Basic Qualifications ? 6+ years of experience as a program manager or equivalent, ideally within a large-scale corporation ? Superb project management and communication skills ? Superb people-handling skills, solid management experience ? Experience designing for, managing and building upon team communication systems, using products like Trello (or Wrike or Asana), Airtable (or Google Sheets or Excel), visual dashboarding and Keynote/Google Slides. ? Ability to build and deliver a status presentation to senior management, with calm confidence ? Strong conflict resolution & negotiation skills The ideal candidate will be an excellent team wrangler, and will bring experience and methods to the role that will help a thinly-stretched team be as efficient, happy and organized as possible.
