we are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong technical background in 3D modeling and visualization. The Software Engineer will work on the development of our new 3D print preparation software. He or she must be comfortable and experienced with computational geometry, algorithms design, and GUI development.
Requirements Ready to become an element of the success of a company working on the cutting edge of the 3D metal Additive Manufacturing industry Self-motivated with a great sense of ownership BS or MS in Computer Science or [Mathematics, Robotics] and a Minor in Computer Science. A competent background in C (C11/14/17), Python's knowledge is a plus Experience in 3D modeling using CGM, Parasolid, ACIS, OpenCASCADE or similar. Experience in Qt-based GUI development. Experience in visualization using HOOPS 3D, VTK or similar. Familiar with SQL database programming Familiar with the Windows development stack (Windows 10, Visual Studio) Familiarity with general-purpose GPU programming is a plus Experience with version control software. Excellent object-oriented programming and design abilities
