Contact Center Applications - Sr. Engineer

Job PurposeThe current position of Contact Center Applications – Sr. Engineer is responsiblefor providing expertise across multiple domains like Contact Center Applications (SSE, UAD, Telephony, Chat), Oracle EBS, API usage. Successful candidate should be a quick learner with a penchant for acquiring new skills and strong technical focus. Candidate should possess strong communication skills and be a team player.

kill Set Following experience is required for a successful candidate
  • Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • Strong working technical knowledge of implementing and maintaining Contact Center Applications like telephony, chat, messenger and social customer communication channels
  • Strong knowledge ReactJS framework.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Service Cloud
  • Experience of working in a large-scale enterprise applications
  • Experience working with global implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams seamlessly and provide technical direction to these teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium projects independently.

Following experience is desired
  • Familiarity with JIRA 11.Familiarity with GIT
  • Knowledge of tools API gateways SOA and AWS
  • Knowledge of Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) is preferable
  • Knowledge of OMNI Channel call center applications

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Design Identifies single points of failure and operational gaps and develops plans for improvement. Identify issues with technical architecture and breakdown in to manageable parts for improvement. Sets coding standards, enforce standards and establish monitoring procedures. Assess the work load and provides estimates for the work effort required. Set directions for efficiently designing integrations. Sets standards for design of dashboards, alerts and reports as necessary.

Application Configuration Sets standards for development of new and modifies existing customizations, conversions and interfaces. Works with vendor, as necessary, on implementation activities. Review the deployment strategies and suggest enhancements. Plans for and manages the upgrade cycle for the platform. Conducts code reviews.

Advice and Guidance
  • Sets standards for platform use in all environments.
  • Promotes the effective use of the platform and determines when the platform should or should not be used as part of a solution.
  • Provides an update on status to interested parties.

Application SupportLeverages team to provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products, working with vendor and other technology teams as necessary. Suggest process improvements to make support process seamless.

Emerging Technology MonitoringActively participates in the engineering community, staying up to date on new platform technologies and best practices and shares insights with others in the organizationThanks & Regards.
