REMOTE Option Available Integrated Practice Solutions, Inc. (dba ChiroTouch), a fast-growing and leading healthcare software company, is looking for a Sr DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will build and manage application environments in AWS, Azure, and other hosting providers. You will be a guardian of uptime and performance for production solutions. You will work with the latest tools and technologies and will be involved in exciting and challenging projects. Strong sensibilities for disaster recovery, security and DevOps will make you a perfect fit for this role. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage application environments according to DevOps best practices
  • Partner with Engineering teams to configure, deploy and maintain production systems while supporting rapid customer growth
  • Maintain networking, monitoring, and infrastructure of multiple SaaS products
  • Maintain, manage, secure, tune and improve a substantial AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Recommend enhancements and modifications to improve enterprise system performance, efficiency, and reliability
  • Promote efficiency, predictability, and scalability through automation
  • Reduce risk and increase performance for cloud applications and supporting systems
  • Keep systems and information secure at all times, complying with the latest security standards
  • Audit, troubleshoot and resolve system availability and integrity issues
  • Handle setbacks and disruptions with positivity, persistence, and a calm demeanor
  • Tackle complex challenges in a timely manner
Qualifications Required:
  • 7+ years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in at least one scripting language
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with databases including MySQL and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with deploying and writing Terraform or similar orchestration tooling
  • Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages
  • Knowledge of Red Hat Open Shift (RHOS)
  • Experience managing Load Balancing software
  • Experience deploying code created with Agile development practices
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Datacenter networking and security expertise, with an understanding of distributed or load-balanced systems
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience deploying and managing IaaS or PaaS solutions with AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience troubleshooting real-time production environments, along with deployment and support of new systems
  • Experience performing daily system monitoring, maintenance, and collection of data/metrics for performance trending
  • Experience writing Python/Bash and a history of automation
  • Drive to understand and overcome even the most complicated issues
  • Ability to create professional documentation and a passion for clear and current system diagrams
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptually while managing details
  • Creative problem-solving along with a persistent, tenacious, urgent approach to identified issues
  • Teachable attitude, with a willingness to learn, teach, and be a generalist
  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative environment, with receptiveness to feedback and the applied experience of others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a broad audience incl senior management
  • Flexibility and a team mindset, with an ability to manage shifting priorities and communicate across varying technical levels
  • High levels of curiosity about how things work, and an evergreen desire to learn new things
Preferred:
  • Experience in a highly available, autoscaling production environment
  • Experience building Linux Servers and enterprise-class systems, prioritizing security and redundancy
  • Knowledge of VMWare
  • Healthcare/HIPAA Security experience
