Join the eXcell team. This Desktop Support Tech will meet high-level job requirements for a location with 600-800 users. Job functions include ServiceNow ticketing system, hardware break-fix, software support, IMACs, MPP support, smart hands (hands and eyes for level 3 teams), VC support, and decommissioning of older equipment. Candidate should be A+ certified and have about 4 years of experience. Contract to Hire Opportunity Overview:
- Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems
- Support Windows 10 installed on Lenovo hardware in a locked environment - software installed via SCCM
- Customize communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual
- Determine the most cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime
- Prepare reports for analysis
- 4+ years of related experience, or AA degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A+ certification desired
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
