Job Description

Scrum Master/Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading and guiding product teams to deliver the Workgrid Digital Assistant and Intelligent Workplace platform. Workgrid product teams are cross-functional including software engineers, product managers, and product designers. Coaching the teams and proactively eliminating barriers to team delivery will be key in this role. Building strong relationships with the Product Management team to support planning, prioritisation and implementation. Fostering team decision making; encouraging collaboration and team support.Key Responsibilities
  • Focused on regular, timely delivery of business value and management of expectations.
  • Works closely with the Product Managers to support short and long-term release planning and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
  • Oversees delivery and coaches multiple teams; facilitates transparency, inspection and adaption with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Guides the delivery teams to use the relevant agile practices and methodology based on the context of the situation.
  • Creates a supportive and trusting environment to support full team engagement. Fosters close cooperation and communication across all team members; encourages collaboration and team support.
  • Manages interdependencies between delivery teams
  • Shields the teams from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.
  • Serves the teams in whatever capacity needed, including planning and facilitating meetings.
  • Anticipates and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges).
  • Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven ability to successfully lead technology projects and to effectively create a high-performing team environment
  • Experience in building strong customer / business partner relationships
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement to generate efficiencies, effectiveness and cost savings
  • Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of proactivity, action orientation, self-motivation, leading to a positive business outcome.
  • Experience working with teams using various Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, methodologies, architectures and technical standards, ideally gained in a commercial software environment
