your life's best work.(sm) If you are located in the Pacific Time Zone, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:- Positions in this function analyze and monitor claims against fraud, waste and abuse related to network pharmacies
- Investigates, reviews and analyzes claims data applying knowledge of pharmacy policy and practice and data mining techniques to determine details of fraudulent, erroneous, or abusive billing activity on Real Time Application System and various reports
- Auditor will need to identify and document fraudulent or erroneous activities determined as a result of their work. Auditors typically are licensed pharmacy technicians with in - depth knowledge of pharmacy operations
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail pharmacy environment, some type of specialized pharmacy, or PBM
- Current and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in state of residence
- Must reside in Pacific Time Zone
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Word (creating / updating documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating / updating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and formulas)
- If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy
- Experience with Medicare Part D and B
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize materials from various, sometimes unrelated sources, analyze and draw logical conclusions
