Top global organization located in San Francisco's Financial District, has an opportunity for an outstanding technical support engineer to provide advanced Level 2 Desktop technology support to executive users and staff in a fast paced environment.
Position is ON SITE at firm location. Required white glove service technique, including stellar follow-up and problem solving skills. This individual will serve as a liaison between management, users, and vendors regarding service requests, usage, standards, security, and other technical matters. Must have excellent oral communications skills and attention to detail.Required minimum 5 years experience with Level 2 Desktop and Windows Applications Support in a professional services enterprise environment with minimum 200+ users. Required advanced knowledge of desktop computing and end user support. Required thorough knowledge of Windows 10 and system add-ins. Experience with Exchange/O365 email and Active Directory a MUST.The chosen candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding in the use of the Microsoft Suite products and services including :operating systems, office products & functionality, supporting of MS email- Office 365 or Outlook 2010/2016. Should have the aptitude and ability to research new technologies and new applications, and learn updated and proprietary software. Perform Mobile device support as well. Experience with security products & OS security hardening helpful.Should possess strong Project Management and organizational skills. Experience with with vendor management and budgets a strong plus.Will provide support of a multi-office/city user base, supporting hardware, software and infrastructure operations. Will ensure all hardware and software solutions are being supplied appropriately.
